Jason Chak-ming Lam is a writer with a wide range of interests and mediums, born and based in Hong Kong.
Jason obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Japanese and Korean Studies from the University of Hon Kong. In 2024, he completed his Master of Fine Arts in Drama (major in Playwriting) at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.
With over 7+ years of copywriting experience, Jason has excelled in producing compelling marketing copy and generating creative ideas across a diverse range of media platforms. His expertise spans television broadcast, social media, and print media. He, in particular, specialises in crafting engaging storytelling scripts that effectively convey brand values through video productions. Additionally, he is adept at creating punchy social media copy designed to capture attention and drive engagement.
In 2018, he joined ViuTV at the Hong Kong Television Entertainment Company Limited, where he focused on writing voice-over scripts and creating promotional content. He subsequently worked at Fevaworks Solutions, where he contributed to marketing campaigns and social media content creation for commercial clients and government institutions, including Bang & Olufsen, the First Film Feature Initiative, the Centre for Food Safety, the Insurance Authority, yuu, and Langham Place.
Currently, Jason serves as a Senior Content Specialist at MSL Hong Kong, where he crafts impactful copy and develops creative strategies for high-profile corporations and clients, such as HSBC, Cathay Pacific, Starbucks, and the Hong Kong Tourism Board.
On a freelance basis, Jason has crafted LinkedIn and EDM copy for BOOKYAY, along with content creation, copywriting, and scriptwriting for various organisations. His clients include the Korea Argo-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation, Ztor, Victorinox, Tempo, and numerous Hong Kong government departments, such as the Fire Services Department, the Department of Health, the Information Services Department, and the Labour Department.
