Jason Chak-ming Lam
Jason is a writer of diverse interest born and based in Hong Kong.
He received his BA in Japanese Studies and Korean Studies at the University of Hong Kong, and is expected to complete his MFA in Drama (Playwriting) at the Hong Kong Academy for the Performing Arts in 2024.
He has produced works for the theatre, screen, printed media, television broadcast and social media. At the age of 11, he published his first novel and later became a contracted writer of Mingpao Publications. He also composed articles for Mingpao as a columnist during his study at secondary school and university. In recent years, Jason focused on writing for stage and screen, and his previous works have received multiple awards.
Professionally, he is engaged in copywriting and social media communication in the advertising industry and undertakes freelance work in translation (Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean).
