Jason Chak-ming Lam
Born and based in Hong Kong, Jason is a writer working across a wide range of forms and media.
He holds a BA in Japanese Studies and Korean Studies from the University of Hong Kong, and a MFA in Drama (Playwriting), graduating with Distinction from the Hong Kong Academy for the Performing Arts.
Dedicated to becoming an all-round writer, Jason has created works for the stage, screen, print, television and social media platforms. His plays have been produced by theatre companies including the Hong Kong Repertory, Actor's Vision, Actors' Family, Beyond Dance Theater, and Cinematic Theatre. Several of his screenplays are currently in development.
Professionally, Jason works in the advertising industry, specialising in copywriting and social media communication. His clients include HSBC, Cathay Pacific, and Bang & Olufsen. He is also the co-founder of Chilli Means Company (@chilli.means).
