Jason is a writer born and based in Hong Kong.

Jason earned his BA in Japanese and Korean Studies at the University of Hong Kong. In 2024, he completed his MFA in Drama (Playwriting) at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. <div>At just 11 years old, Jason published his first novel, making the beginning of his writing career. He has since created works for theatre, screen, print media, television, and social media. His stage play "Moral Education" won the Champion title at the 7th Young Playwrights Scheme at Cinematic Theatre in 2022. Many of his pieces have been produced or are in development with local theatre companies, such as the Hong Kong Repertory, the Actors' Family, and Beyond Dance Theatre. Additionally, his short film screenplay won the Short Film Screenplay Competition at the Hong Kong Lesbian & Gay Film Festival in 2022. In 2024, he was chosen for the "Movie Maker Screenwriter Scheme" and is currently working on his debut feature screenplay titled "Small Town Boys". <div>Professionally, Jason is engaged in copywriting, content creation and social media communication in the advertising industry, serving clients including HSBC, Cathay Pacific, The Henderson, Starbucks etc. He also undertakes freelance work in translation (Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean).
